Trust & safety

prompt4hire is a member-to-member marketplace. A few simple habits make hiring and working here much safer.

Before you agree to work

  • Check the profile. Look at the member's public profile, services, portfolio links, and other live listings.
  • Keep the conversation on prompt4hire. Our messaging keeps a record of what was agreed. Be wary of anyone who immediately pushes you to another app or refuses to discuss details here.
  • Agree the specifics in writing. Scope, deliverables, timeline, price, and what happens if either side needs to change the plan.
  • Be careful with upfront payment. prompt4hire doesn't process or hold payments. If you pay directly, use a method with buyer protection and never share card details, passwords, or one-time codes.

Warning signs

  • Prices far below market rate, or pressure to decide immediately.
  • Requests to pay by gift card, crypto transfer to a stranger, or wire transfer.
  • Anyone asking for your password, sign-in codes, or full card details.
  • Listings that copy another member's photos or portfolio.
  • Requests to move the deal off-platform before you've agreed anything.

If something feels off, stop and report it — you never need to confront the other member yourself.

Reporting and moderation

Every listing and public profile has a Report option. Tell us the reason and add any details that would help — links, screenshots, message excerpts.

Reports go to our moderation queue, where authorised moderators review the content and the member's history. Depending on what they find, moderators can dismiss the report, remove the content, or restrict the account. The reported member is never told who reported them.

If something goes wrong

prompt4hire can't refund payments or enforce private agreements — those are between you and the other member — but we act quickly on content and behaviour that break our terms of service. If you believe a crime has been committed, contact your local authorities first, then report the account to us.
